Eco-wallet Made from Plastic

Eco-wallet made from Plastic

There are a lot of things we can do from trash, like chairs from plastic bottles, artworks, furniture made from iron or even used tires. There's a lot more we can do from trashes. We just have to broaden our imagination, productivity and ofcourse creativity. I was a part of a group before that make wallets, bags, pouch and cellphone case out of plastic trashes. We separate plastic trashes like empty packs of chips, crackers, coffee and many more that can be used for eco-wallet. "May pera sa basura", yes indeed! With patience, diligence and a little creativity, we can do so. We can also reduce the garbages by recycling those kinds of plastic because as we all know plastic are non-biodegraeable and harmful to us if burned. Pictures below are my pieces of art.

Some of my works were delivered abroad and some were bought by friends. I have lots of orders before but I wasn't able to accommodate it and there are sleepless nights because of I have to finished those orders. Making eco-wallet is not that easy.

First, you have to sort plastic trashes, the kind of plastic used for eco-wallet is those with foil or metallic at the back. Second is the washing and drying of the plastics. Third, the cutting according to its pattern or size (1" x 2"). Fourth is the folding and the weaving and last is the stitching and attaching the zipper.

Creativity is the key to be able to come-up with an artistic output.
